Is it possible to integrate Jira Align with Jira Data Center? There seems to be no information available for this.
The Jira Align connector to Jira will connect to any Jira instance (Data Center, Cloud, Server) as long as it is properly configured. In fact, the connector acts like any other user, so Jira Align has no need to know if it's connected to Jira Server, Data Center, or Cloud.
In fact, you can connect Jira Align with multiple Jira instances, so you could connect to a Cloud instance, a Server instance, and a Data Center instance simultaneously. See @Tim Keyes' answer to Hello, Could Jira Align be integrated with multiple Jira Applications for an explanation of how.
There are in fact considerations when connecting to Jira Cloud that aren't an issue in Data Center and Server. For instance, Cloud offers NexGen projects which should not be used with Jira Align, unless you want headaches. Also, Atlassian implemented a solution for Europe's Global Data Privacy Regulation (GDPR) that is a real pain in the backside when integrating with Jira Align. I think Jira Align and Atlassian are currently working on both issues.
On the flip side, there are also a number of things in Cloud that make are pretty cool when implementing with Jira Align.
Bottom line, Jira Align will connect with any version of Jira, as long as it can get through any firewall or other security implementation, and as long as the connector service account has the proper credentials to access the data it needs.

Yes this is possible, obviously you have to configure Jira Server or Data Center to meet the requirements of Jira Align.
