Welcome! You'll learn a lot here. Don't hesitate to ask questions.
Enthusiastic about Jira Service Management since 2012 when I first encountered it while exploring project management and task management tools for Linkcare Health Services. With a proven track record, I have successfully implemented Jira Service Management in various large corporations and multinationals across Spain, streamlining service delivery.
Passionate about all aspects of Jira Service Management, I possess expertise in Scriptrunner, Jira Service Management, Kanban, Confluence, and Integrations. My dedication to the platform extends to writing informative articles on mraddon.blog, where I strive to help others
Injecting humor into the mix, the phrase "NO JIRA NO PARTY" never fails to bring a smile, reflecting the positive impact of Jira Service Management on team collaboration and success. Looking forward to further contributing to the Jira Service Management community and continuously learning from fellow enthusiasts.
Hi.
I am using JSM for 2 years.
Using it internal and for customer requests.
New attempt as comment/reply/answer to this post then:
To be honest, I'm no longer new to Jira Service Management, I'm just trying to figure out whether I'm supposed to write an article or start a discussion because for some odd reason I still don't seem to get the 'At Your Service' kudos badge 😉
No seriously, I've been using JSM for about 4,5 years now. First, mainly on Server/Data Center and for the last 2 years also on Cloud.
It's fascinating to see how Atlassian created a separate product on the Jira Platform and gradually added features and functionalities, now integrating lots of ITIL Service Management practices into a product with several integrations.
I have more than 20 years of experience in ITSM (with my previous employer) and it is the main reason I became an Atlassian Consultant.
Yes, it worked, gotcha!
Hi folks, My name is Utkarsh and I'm part of Atlassian for the past 2 years. I'm here to help and learn from some amazing people. :)
Hey everyone,
Like many people here, I am not that new to JSM (but compared to some 10+ years of experience users, I might say I'm new 😅).
Anyway, I've been using JSM for around 4 years now. I remember when I first discovered it in my previous company when working in the Customer Success dpt. as we needed a solution for supporting our customers. As the company already used Jira Software we were quite fond of having another Atlassian tool for this purpose as it could easily integrate with existing processes.
I also love the direction with which Atlassian is moving forward when it comes to the ITSM solutions and all new features that have been rolled out recently. So, keep it up 💪
Hi there!
Hello everyone,
I am working on the JSM and Jira from long time, it's really helpful for tracking and planning the progress.
Hello JSM group
I'm Damien, an Atlassian Certified Expert, working on the Atlassian Stack since more than 14 years. CEO of Adadam, a small IT Company in South West of France (near Bordeaux), specialized in Atlassian apps development.
I'm also known as “Dam” has more than 15 years of experience in IT, starting as a Java developer and then evolving and learning Agile methodologies as a scrum master and product owner. He is now dedicated and totally “in love” with the Atlassian stack.
Finally you should have heard about me in one of the Atlassian keynote during the last Team 23 event... 😃 In which keynote is it? 😊
Hi everyone,
I'm new to JSM, learning about it and configuring it right now for the company I work for, which is a Software Factory.
I'm from Brazil and really happy this community exists, the other communities have been helping me a LOT! I have a bachelor's degree in information systems, started as a front-end developer and now I'm a Scrum Master.
I don't have a good use case yet but my company's client is a Marine Shipping Agency, which for me is quite unique.
Thanks for your time reading this far.
Hello everyone!
I am near 3 years using and administering JSM. I believe that knowledge-sharing is key to our collective success, and I look forward to engaging with all of you, learning from your experiences, and contributing wherever I can. Whether you have questions, ideas, or simply want to discuss the latest trends in Jira Service Management, feel free to reach out to me.
Hello Jira, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains within the sound of service...
Some lyrics for the vibe.
I love working with JSW / JSM and Conf for years and to boost the effectiveness in IT or business departments.
We use JSM for internal IT Support, facility management, public customer support and private B2B support. Provide the service in multiple languages and additional technical documentation for service and repairs via the KB.
Happy ride!
Good day everyone!
I'm new to JSM, too. I was working in the Tourism industry before, and at most working with Trello. It's been one year since I started working on App Support, and I love how JSM and JWM make life much easier. Wish we had that already implemented by then.
Pluuuus Im kind implementing tasks now for private like and trying to get the GF on board. Wish there was a "Family & Friends" license :D
Have a great day!
Hi I'm Dave!
New to JSM, but not to Jira. Hoping I might learn more about JSM and if it might benefit our team or organization. It's primarily our Marketing and Website Development team working in Jira now but more and more realize the benefits all the time.
If you're using JSM, what's your favorite difference between JSM and Jira Software?
I just started to use Jira this month. It's pretty useful and helps me a lot.
I'd like to learn more about Jira as I could.
I have been working with JSM for more than a year now. Started working on it in my previous organization. Currently, I am learning more about how can I set it up to manage different types of services and requests as a part of Shared services.

Hi all!
I've been using JSM since it existed (JSD previously). I'm glad to see how it has evolved from a plugin to a full blown and mature ITSM solution today.
I'm here to participate in discussion and answer questions :-)
Hi,
I have been using JSM for 5 years and now have started to look at further integrating an developing JSM to include Ops Genie and CICD
Cheers
James
Hi everyone! I'm not exactly new to JSM since I've interacted with many support portals as requesters. However, I'm new to managing it from the other side as a product manager. In my organization, we use JSM for IT and HR matters. Since experimenting with the latest Atlassian Intelligence in JSM, we've also explored our own AI solutions to help streamline the support work. So I'm interested to learn how everyone implements JSM as well!
I have been using JSM for a week now we were using a system which was not fast and reliable for custom reports, so now we have moved to JSM
We are starting to use JSM in our company. Any guidance on various best practices would be helpful.
