JIRA avatar doesn't match Fisheye avatar

I set up my profile avatar and now I see it associated with some content, like JIRA activity. But in Fisheye commits I still just see the default gray starfish.

Here's the URL of the starfish:

And here's the URL of my chosen avatar:

https://ethepeople.atlassian.net/secure/useravatar?size=large&ownerId=jesse&avatarId=10115

Is this a bug or do I need to set my avatar in multiple places or is it some sort of admin setting?

This widget could not be displayed.

This is a feature request that has not yet been resolved. The feature request is at:

https://studio.atlassian.com/browse/JST-3808

If you are interested, you can follow the "relates to" links on the feature request and find that a pretty big re-working of how avatars are handled is in the works. For the meantime, you can 'watch' the above feature request and as soon as there is some news on the issue, you will get an email.
