August 2018 Community Awards

I'm so excited that it's time for another round of Community Content Awards! I really love the opportunity to recognize some of the awesome Community Champions and community members who are going above and beyond to help make this community the amazing place that it is.
For those of you who are new to these awards, in the past we've had two categories: Champion and Rising Star. The Champion category is meant to honor our contributors who are part of the official Community Champion program – the best of the best. The Rising Star category identifies the extraordinary up-and-comers in our community. And this time, we're adding a new category so we can celebrate our top Atlassians who have gone beyond their job descriptions to become active participants on the Atlassian Community.
Without further ado, the winners of the August 2018 Atlassian Community Awards are:

Happy Talk Award for most discussion comments:

Community Addict Award for most signins:

Bullseye Award for the highest accepted answers percentage:

Reading Rainbow Award for most posts read:

Superuser award for most posts:

Mr. and Ms. Miscellaneous Award for most likes in our off topic area:

Sharing the Love Award for most likes given:

Brilliant Blogger Award for excellence in blogging:

Community MVP Award for most accepted solutions

Please join the Atlassian Community team in congratulating the winners in the comment section below.  Y'all are awesome and we love you! You will be getting a shiny badge in your profile soon.

We'll have special swag for the winners at Summit Barcelona, so let us know at if you'll be there!

Congratulations again!

P.S. Anyone else think we need a clever name for these awards? I'll award a prize to whoever comes up with the best name in the comments!

Jonathan Smith Community Leader Aug 10, 2018

Congrats to the community award winners and also to everyone else who has helped in the community last month.

  • Makes you wonder how many help desk tickets we save Atlassian...

If only the Dundies was an option for the community awards...

What about the Charlies?

Congrats everyone. Keep on doing this great work.

Congratulations to  all :),  and  thank you all  for the GOOD works!

Thomas Schlegel Community Leader Aug 13, 2018

Thank you and congratulations to all the other winners! I think, "Charlies" is a great name for the awards, but it was already used in 2009 for Summit awards:

Don't know, if we can reactivate it.

@Thomas Schlegel Oops, didn't know about those. If we can't reactivate it, maybe we can call the awards list the Community Dream Team, since Atlassian is so team-oriented.

Meg Holbrook Community Leader Aug 13, 2018

Congrats everyone!!!

Meg: Making your Mondays less productive, one fluff article at a time. ;)

@Manon Soubies-Camy - I love this idea so much

Congratulations everyone! How about the ACE Awards {Atlassian Community Engagement (acronym)} for the name of these awards? Sad I will miss everyone in Barcelona, wish I could be there with you all - enjoy every last moment (especially Trello Day!)

Monique vdB Community Manager Aug 13, 2018

Oooh really like that suggestion, @Jodi LeBlanc!!! We will miss you :(

Everyone who is missing this one (and everyone who is not missing it, basically every single one of you) will have to come to the next US Summit.

Mirek Community Leader Aug 14, 2018

@Manon Soubies-Camygave me an idea for the Awards name with this GIF ;) .. What about ..

Atlassian Community High Five (Excellence) Awards! :)

Congratulations to all!

Thanks @Monique vdB I will miss you all too - looking forward to seeing everyone next year! :)

Davin Studer Community Leader Aug 14, 2018

Congrats everyone mentioned above. Y'all rock!

Congrats all!

Erica Moss Community Manager Aug 20, 2018

@Jodi LeBlanc Love your suggestion for the new name! ✨

Jodi LeBlanc Community Leader Aug 20, 2018

Thanks @Erica Moss I was aiming to think of something that was catchy as a standalone acronym but would resonate with the spirit of the awards :)
