Is there anything on the roadmap to filter pages and generate reports based on the new page status feature?
See attached.
Note: this is not the page properties macro but something similar would be appreciated.
Have a look at the comment thread under Atlassian's announcement of the "page status" feature: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-articles/Page-status-a-new-way-to-keep-your-team-informed/ba-p/1982476
Lots of people, incl. myself, ask for additional features related to the page status. Without those, it is really just a nice, but dumb marker.
Hi Kieran,
as far as I know, there is no reporting function from Confluence out-of-the-box or any other app so far. But I guess it is most likely to be implemented by either one in the near term.
Anyways, If you are very keen on reporting the page status right now, I would recommend you to give our newest app Orderly Databases a try. It's free for up to 10 users, if you want to give it a try.
It is an app to store data in databases where you can reference and edit this information easily and from anywhere in Confluence with the help of macros. It's similar to Page Properties in terms of managing metadata but much more dynamic.
Also, we just recently implemented the function of referencing, editing and adding Confluence page statuses within the database and macros on-the-fly. Of course it is also possible to filter by status etc.
If you have any further questions, feel free to contact us at help@k15t.com!
Cheers,
Darja
