excerpt include not wide enough with included table

I have a table within an "excerpt"

When I include within an "excerpt include" macro, the resultant view of the table is not wide enough and requires horizontal scrolling.

Is there a way to widen the view within an "excerpt include"?

If you've not found a solution yet then this may help https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/How-to-adjust-the-width-of-what-appears-in-the-Excerpt-Include/qaq-p/1368904

Basically insert a page rather than an excerpt.

So, not sure how or why, but after a while, the "excerpt include" ended up being wide enough. Initially, it was the "smallest" width but after I went back to the page (some fair amount of time later), the width was where I wanted it (such that there was no scrolling.

Weird but I'll take it.
