Two users unable to access Confluence

Under user management they are both listed with Permission "Basic" and are in the groups "Confluence-users" and "jira-software users"

In Confluence the Spaces that then need access to have permissions set for "Confluence Users"  I have also tried to add them as individual users permissions but there name does not come up in the search which is strange to me.

When they access confluence they get the below error
