Specify label to use for page created from template

Following use case:

• I have one template for meeting minutes.
• I have different regular meetings, that use that same template i.e. on different parent pages the new minutes page is created using a button ( ‘Create from Template’ Macro).
• I would like to specify a different label for the pages created depending on the meeting type without having to duplicate the template, so that I can create a task report/decision report per meeting type.

I don't see that it's possible, to define the label outside of the template.

@Claudia Schwenk If you don't want to upgrade to Premium to be able to use Automation, you can add the label to the page after you create it. See this page for details: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/use-labels-to-organize-your-content/

If you want to be leading edge and accept the risk that comes with that, you could try having Atlassian Intelligence suggest the labels for you, based on the page contents.

Thanks, sounds like a cool feature. I actually know which label so don't need AI support in this case.

You could use an automation based on the parent page to apply the different labels.

You could use Automation to add labels based on the title of the page when its published. You can add more rules to differentiate if you need to.
