Page Properties Report (Not by Labels!) by Child Pages

Sara Phillips November 2, 2020

I am working in Confluence Data Centre v7.4.1

Got 100's of pages which use the Page Properties macro to store information so would prefer to find a way to use the page properties data if possible. As would take considerable effort to update them.

Need something similar to the Page Properties Report but WITHOUT the requirement for Labels. I want it to list results depending on the child-pages. I would also like

I have looked into the Comala Metadata option, and I have so far been unsuccessful in adding in the Page Properties values to the report.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi @Sara Phillips ,

Check the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app.

It provides the Table Excerpt/Table Excerpt Include macros that collect tables (and multi-row tables as well!) within

  • current page
  • specific page
  • page and childpages - that is your case!
  • page and all descendants
  • pages with labels

Then you can merge all the tables into the big one with the help of the Table Transformer macro and optionally filter your report, create pivots, make charts, perform calculations, etc.

Hi @Sara Phillips,

to help your problem I would like to introduce our app Metadata for Confluence.

Metadata for Confluence allows you to centrally assign and administer page metadata in Confluence.

With our Metadata app you can:

  • Assign metadata sets to single pages, part of or even the whole page tree of a space
  • Add metadata sets to Confluence page templates
  • Search metadata and display pages based on their metadata values
  • display metadata (page properties) with macros

To find more information see our documentation and the marketplace.
If you have any questions or need help feel free to contact us.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Kind Regards

Julia
