Migrate documents on confluence

Amit Lohia September 26, 2017

Is there any way to bulk migrate existing documentation to confluence.

basically requirement is

1. Bulk migrate documents from lotus to confluence

2. All the documents should be created as pages in confluence

3. Version control for future edits

Addon :

If approval flow can be implemented that would be add on.

Thanks

Hi Amit,

Especially for the most recent versions of Confluence, you're probably going to have to roll your own solution. Here's a community thread from a while ago about the issue: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Questions/Method-tool-to-convert-any-other-markup-to-Confluence-Wiki/qaq-p/121518

The good news is that once your pages are in Confluence, version control will be there for all further edits, and the Comala Workflows addon makes adding an approval flow quite easy.

Ok thanks. Looks confluence in itself does not have a good way to migrate.

It's more a case of Lotus not having a usable export format, but yes, it's going to be a lot of work to do this.
