Jira Issues Macro not showing issues list for certain users

Michel.Tatrung September 29, 2020

Using a template page that contains a Jira Issues macro. The macro displays fine for certain users, but others get a warning message that reads (translated)'refresh failed, please try again', see below.Confluence_JiraMacro_-image (5).pngUsers have reported that the macro works on other 'non-template' pages. the issue was reported by both admins and non-admin users.

Is there any underlying logic that could cause this? a timeout maybe? Thanks!

Hi @Michel.Tatrung

Unfortunately, this is a known issue.  Here is a ticket with a workaround: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-62014 which involves splitting the information into different pages to minimize load times.

Also you can find some explanations from the Atlassian team here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Jira-Issue-Macro-not-showing-custom-field-value-in-Confluence/qaq-p/1786372 for a similar issue.
