Include last modified date and user in Page Properties Report for Confluence Cloud

Rea Baxmann April 4, 2019

Is there a way or workaround to include the last modified date in a Page Properties Report for Confluence Cloud?

For Server, this question is answered here with a workaround by changing the macro. However, this is not a possibility for Confluence Cloud.

My current workaround is to include a Change History macro in the Page Properties. However this will show *all* past versions and will eventually get very long as there is no way to limit the rows displayed in the Change History macro (feature request).

I realize whoever is editing the page could always update the Page Property, but we all know that's not going to happen. Plus, the table is by default sorted by last modified date, so why not make it an option to display this field as well?!

Another option would be to have a macro that shows the last modified date of the page you're on and I could add that into the original pages' Page Property macro. But surprisingly that doesn't seem to exist either.

Thanks for any ideas or pointing me to a Jira issue I can upvote.

Hello there!

There is currently no real solution for this situation in Cloud, Rea. No other than the one you are already doing.

But there is, in fact, a request in our system that tackles a similar feature:

CONFCLOUD-29153 | Extend Page Properties Report Macro to support displaying 'Creator' and 'Modified' properties

So, you can vote and watch the request. Voting increases the visibility given to this report and watching will keep you up to date with it!

Looking forward to your reply Rea!
