A couple individuals in my organization, myself not included, received emails from a domain we did not know was legitimate or not. We have confirmed that jira@po.atlassian.net is legitimate, but we did not turn on any new notifications and these emails are just not useful or needed. Does anyone know how to turn off these notifications? Another thread mentions that there is no way to turn them off globally, but does anyone know how to turn these off at an individual level?
Another problem with these emails is that all of the links are very shady looking. For example: https://atlas-trk.prd.msg.ss-inf.net/f/a/k0I3UxSWa41DC7Ud986Gkw...<snip>
I am blocking them at the org level within our email gateway, as they don't appear legitimate and I don't see any confirmation from Atlassian that they are to be expected.
Hello @Dallen Taylor
Based on my understanding, these emails are likely a system-generated notification from Jira.
While there may not be a global option to disable them, individual users can adjust their notification preferences by navigating to their Jira account settings and disabling certain email alerts.

Hello @Sahir Maharaj
I thought this too but I have been getting this notification via email despite having email notification disabled in my personal notifications. This seems to be a new feature that is ignoring all user preferences unless I have missed the particular setting.
Beyond that, it does not follow the same design decisions Atlassian have used in their other notification emails - I received the notification email with no detail about the issue it is referring to. Other email notifications are structured to at least reference the issue they are notifying you about.
