We found the solution for our users to get rid of the highly distracting animation feature for the new circles on the cards ('mark as done'), that had users turn off animation in ALL of windows. This is causing other issues with other apps. We need to turn it back on, but remove the animation from trello cards. Question 1: Can we turn off the animation ONLY in trello and not have to change our entire windows 11 settings?
Ideally, we would like to remove that circle ENTIRELY from the front view of the cards, because people are hitting the circles by accident and cards are being marked complete in error. If we left the circle on the card itself when you open the card, that would be fine, but when clicking on the title of the card itself, sometimes the space is too small and the 'mark as done' circle is in the way. Question 2: Is there a way to remove that 'mark as done' circle from the cards in the original display on the list?
Hello
Welcome to the community
You can disable the front card option instead of the animation of the windows. I believe the solution below will resolve all the questions on the thread.
Marking cards as complete on the front of cards can be turned off for individual boards via the board menu. If this board setting is turned off, the check circle will be removed from the front of the card in all views. You can still open the card and mark it as complete on the top left of the card. Only a board admin can configure this setting.
Open the board menu
Select Settings
Under Complete Status, select Show complete status on card front to turn it off.

Thank you. That was a lot of work to go in and manually remove it from every board! Future roll outs maybe you can consider a banner announcement allowing users to turn it on, instead of having to go and turn it off manually over and over. Thanks for the work around.

Thanks! Was indeed highly distracting. Very happy to see it can be easily switched off.
