Homepage diverting to dashboard.action#xxx

Dear Community,

After careful construction of a new Confluence landing space ABC, I set it as the default landing space and ran a heat-map analysis over its usage.

To my surprise, I found that the users landed on the correct space, but got diverted to the https://instance/ABC/dashboard.action#xxx page instead of the intended https://instance/ABC homepage of the constructed space.

As google is your friend, I found a similar bug in the cloud instance from way back in 2021:
CONFCLOUD-72748

We're running confluence 8.5.4. Should I register this as a bug?

I concur that you should raise this at Atlassian Support
