I've just had a MediaWiki admin ask if they can import their MediaWiki site into our Confluence instance. Has anyone done this recently or investigated this process? Most of the hits from my google search are 3 or more years old.
Thanks for any thoughts
Hi Larry,
I've found a couple of threads that include answers to your questions:
I've also found this page/space about the Universal Wiki Converter. As far as I read on the other threads the UWC is deprecated and was never officially supported but you can obviously give it a try. (Free tip: try it on a staging environment)
Universal Wiki Converter Documentation
Hope this helps,
Maarten
I understand it’s an old thread however just to let you know we have built an home grown automation to perform mediawiki to confluence migration. Please reach out to me on vinish.nair@xoriant.com for further details
