how do I import content from another wiki into confluence?

Jeff Berndt May 31, 2016

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Importing Content from Another Wiki

Since "the Universal Wiki Converter (UWC) does not support Confluence versions after 4.3.7," how do I import content from another wiki into Confluence Server?

Hey Jeff!

Sadly, since UWC has been deprecated, there aren't a lot of options out there.  This documentation outlines a few ways to accomplish it, but I'll be the first to admit that the options are pretty lacking.  sad

I often use the Import HTML from Disk for customers myself. Occasionally I've used the REST API within a script I'll write.

Where are you coming from Jeff?

The content is coming from MediaWiki. (Is that what you meant?)
