I'm trying to find a way to embed a video in an answer using Questions for Confluence Cloud. Is this possible? I found a thread from 2015 that seems to indicate it's possible, but I can't reproduce the behavior in my current instance of Confluence Cloud.
Hello @Marie Kretlow !
As I understand, you need to embed a video within questions in Confluence. To be perfectly straightforward, I was unable to find documentation that either denies or confirms that this should work.
What I found was this excerpt from one of our documents:
Unsupported content
If you're editing old questions or answers, you may notice some content displaying as unsupported content. This is due to editor upgrades, and only occurs while editing; that content will display normally when the question or answer is published. If you want to edit that content, we recommend copy-pasting it from the published question or answer.
Here is the link to the whole document:
Since the Questions For Confluence uses a simplified version of the editor, there is a chance that some macros were once supported but now they do not work.
I was also unable to replicate the workflow described in the 2015 post. Let us hear from you, Marier.
Looking forward to your reply.
Thank you for the follow-up. We will just use a link to a video rather than embed.
