Confluence: Use Macros in PDF Stylesheet

AccountName:AIB August 16, 2017

Is there a way to use macros (either built-in, add-ons or user created) in PDF Stylesheet?

Scenario: I have a macro to display the current date and time and would like to use it as a footer via the PDF Stylesheet.  Since there is no simple solution to add date and time using PDF Stylesheet hence the need.

Hi Adeel,

You will need to use something else in order to include the date in your footer.

Have a look at this previous community question at Steffen's answer where he points out a location where you can find some Javascript that may help you.

Kind Regards,

Hi Shannon,

Thank you for replying. Much appreciated.

I've followed through the link and it only shows how to create a user macro to use within a page. It doesn't talk about including macros in PDF Stylesheet or how to explicitly add date and time in the footer of exported PDF.

My hunt for an answer continues.
