Earn our new “Set Knowledge Free” Community Kudos badge!

Confluence is on a mission to set knowledge free, and we’re tapping our community to help! And giving you a chance to earn a Community Kudos badge while you’re at it winking face

From now through the end of April, you can earn the repeatable “Set Knowledge Free” Community Kudos badge up to 5 times by commenting on the posts in this tagged series. Inspire other community members by sharing how you and your teams create, collaborate, and connect on knowledge in Confluence.

To kick off, we’d love to hear about your favorite Confluence templates for keeping your team connected to everything they need to know.

We’ll start–our PMM team adores Confluence templates (we even posted a roundup here), but our go-to is the marketing plan template. It helps us keep track of campaign activities, coordinate across teams, and make sure everyone is on the same page–no small feat for one Confluence page!

Now jump into the comments below and let us know–what are your favorite templates?

As a remote worker, I love this whole collection, but my favorite is probably the Team Poster!

@Cindy Weydt I really appreciate the project charter.  It provides a nice starting point to create your own customized template.

Oh, my life depends on templates! To be honest, though, I wind up creating my own. I usually have very specific use cases and situations, so creating custom templates is a necessity for me.

That said, good ol' Meeting Notes is a solid standard, and has been the backbone of more than one custom template I've created!

Meeting notes is a great template to start with.  If you repeatedly are using it, now you have some consistency with your meeting notes.

I think @Dan Breyen has a great point about the consistency - that's the best part of having a good template! It makes it so much easier to find what you're looking for in something like meeting notes if it follows a consistent pattern.

I am just documenting our application, so I made my own templates for a chapter-type page and a body page. This is my team's primary use of Confluence, so I haven't explored the available templates.

The meeting template is a good one for those starting out with templates. We attend meeting all the time, so this one is super useful.
