5 Must-use templates for Marketing teams (from a Confluence Marketer!)

Last week we asked the community which teams at your companies use Confluence, and shared a bit about how our various teams at Atlassian use Confluence everyday.

This week, we thought it would be fun to share more insights into the types of work our teams do in Confluence —starting with my team, the Marketing team!

Us Marketers love a good template 😍 It helps us be more efficient in our work by taking out the guess work in formatting and helps us standardize our team’s outputs so that our stakeholders and collaborators can easily follow along and understand our process. In short, it helps us be better team players.

We do have some custom templates for specific internal processes, but generally speaking, the templates we use most often are straight from the template gallery available to all users! Here are our top five template picks for Marketers:

📝 Marketing Plan template: Create a comprehensive marketing strategy with this template. It helps you outline your objectives, target audience, and key performance indicators.

Why we love it: We use this template on a quarterly or bi-annual basis to plan and align on our overall Marketing strategy. It’s a great way to get all stakeholders aligned on our top priorities for the upcoming season.

🚀 Marketing Campaign template: Plan and execute your marketing campaigns effectively using this template. It allows you to track campaign details, timelines, and results.

Why we love it: Whether we’re planning a GTM launch, a brand campaign, or even a content launch, this template helps us plan and outline all of the different tactics and channels to make every campaign a success.

🏠 Message House template: Ensure consistent messaging across all channels with the Message House template. This tool helps you define your core messages and supporting points.

Why we love it: This is a PMM favorite! We use this template to work on everything from top-line brand messaging to feature-level messages for GTM launches.

📚 Content Strategy template: Develop a robust content strategy with this template. It guides you in planning, creating, and managing your content to align with your marketing goals.
