AI in Whiteboards

We all ♥️ whiteboards – and we’re excited to take your brainstorming sessions to the next level with the latest AI features designed to improve ease, speed, and efficiency.

Oftentimes, the hardest part about brainstorming is getting your creative juices flowing to come up with new ideas. Atlassian Intelligence pulls from contextual information in Confluence and Jira, and can help generate multiple ideas based on your initial idea to get your creative juices flowing.

Once you have all your brilliant ideas, AI also helps you organize your sticky notes with just a single click. This feature not only saves you precious time but also takes away the hassle of sorting through each sticky note one by one or removing duplicates.

All done with your ideation and need a way to quickly summarize and turn your ideas into an actionable Confluence page? No worries, the new Summarize whiteboards feature is here to help. Quickly summarize your entire whiteboard in just seconds, transforming it into a Confluence page so your team can jump into execution mode.

AI Work Creation

We know that manually creating Jira tasks can be a very laborious process, and takes up time that could be much better spent doing the work itself. To make this process easier and smoother, we’re excited to announce the general availability of AI Work Creation, which helps you create Jira tasks from Confluence pages.

With this feature, you can either highlight specific text on your Confluence page to create a single task or let Atlassian Intelligence review the entire page to bulk-create multiple related tasks for you. AI pre-fills out the title, description, and other details in each Jira task, which you can review before creating. You’re always in control!
