Grouping teams together and filtering

We group our owning teams into domains (N->1)

We currently use a custom field to capture domain

I can search for components associated via a domain by searching via custom field

I would like to be able to share a filter/link to others so they can go straight to the list of components for a domain - but when link is shared it does not seem to work (even though it works consistently for me)

Eg

Component1 -> TeamA ->Domain1

Component2 -> TeamB ->Domain1

Component3-> TeamA ->Domain1

Component4 -> TeamB ->Domain1

Would like to be able to share a deep link that shows all components owned by 'Domain1'

By the way, if Atlassian would add Domain as a first-class entity in the Compass data model, that would be great. And admins should be able to decide if it's called "Domain" or some other term in use by their organization.

We also have a custom field for Domain, and we're able to link to the component list filtered for a specific value by simply copying the URL from the browser address.  Granted, that URL is long and ugly, but it works. Maybe if you have a lot of filters such that the URL is over 2,000 characters, it exceeds what your browser can handle?

Yes, was hoping to do the same as work around but seems to work intermittently - hypothesising that might be some kind of user permission issue.
