⭐️ Categorize your catalog your way with custom component types

Custom component types reduce confusion and match your process nomenclature, ensuring that your software catalog is the perfect fit for your organization. In addition to the built-in component types you’re already using (like services, libraries, and APIs), you can now track any other component type your company relies on and match the language used in your internal tools.

📚 Set standards faster with the scorecard library

Accelerate how you track and improve health with a library of pre-built scorecards. Atlassian uses Compass internally to track our software components and improve service health, and we’ve learned through experience what types of scorecards add insight across a wide range of applications. The scorecard library makes it easy to quickly implement scorecards following some of our best practices with prepopulated fields and configurations.

These scorecards are fully editable and provide a fast and easy way to get started before building your own custom scorecards. Log in today and browse the library.

Plus, scorecards can now be created as drafts

Compass makes it easy to create scorecards, but you might want to tweak and adjust the criteria before rolling them out across your teams. Scorecard drafts in Compass make it easier to create and refine new scorecards without prematurely impacting component owners or sending notifications. When you're ready, simply publish your scorecard to make it visible and activate notifications.

💡 Streamline ops with alerts and on-call in Compass

Consolidate monitoring, on-call management, and alert response in Compass where you already track and collaborate on software components. That means no more “hide-and-seek” with critical information across tools, teams, and services immediately available when you receive an alert in the middle of the night. These features are now available to the majority of Compass sites and we plan to announce full General Availability (GA) to all Compass customers in the coming months. Learn more here.
