No "Add a comment to this line" button visible in Bitbucket cloud?

The documentation says we should be able to 

• Inline — Click the Add a comment to this line button next to the line.

But I'm not seeing that button since we switched to Bitbucket cloud-based. 

Is that functionality no longer available? Or is there a setting to change?

Ah, that only works in the Unified view, not in the Side-by-Side view that I usually switch to immediately.

At least this workaround will give me a way to do it.

Is a separate feature request needed to enable the functionality in the Side-by-Side view, or is that work already in progress?

Right, side-by-side view indeed lacks comments at the moment. Sorry, didn't think of it initially.

The work to enable comments there is currently in progress, here's a relevant ticket: BCLOUD-6357. You can subscribe to updates by watching that ticket (link in the top right action group).

The button appears when you hover a line – to not to clutter the interface.
