Hello,
We are running a Bitbucket server and I would like to install Sourcetree on my Mac running Mojave. I have downloaded the latest Sourcetree from the Sourcetree page. On the Sourcetree installation I have to choose between Bitbucket Cloud and Bitbucket Server. I select Bitbucket Server and I get prompted for the Base URL, Username and Password. I enter the following information:
Base URL: http://bitbucket001:7990
Username: joe doe
Password: password
Next I hit the Login button and I get the message "Logging in..." and the progress indicator is spinning forever!
Sourcetree is working just fine from my Windows 10 system. Furthermore, I am able to access the Bitbucket Server from my Mac using the web interface by entering http://bitbucket001:7990/login and then my login crednetials.
Thank you,
PI
It seems that the space in the username is causing the issue. Means I don't have an issue with an username without a space.
Unfortunately, all our usernames have spaces. How can I enter a username with a space on the Mac Sourcetree? The Windows Sourcetree doesn't have an issue with spaces in the username.
Thanks,
PI

Another user is experiencing the same issue (https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Sourcetree-questions/SourceTree-Enterprise-quot-failed-to-check-login-for-user-quot/qaq-p/810106)
I assume that's a bug in Sourcetree for Mac. How can I report this issue to Atlassian?
Thanks,
PI
