Group permissions

Aleksandre Rukhadze

Hello everyone, I would like to discuss if there is any possible way to create a group inside the project and give administartor permission inside this project only.
I don't want to give a global admin to everyone.

Hi Alex and welcome to the community!

You cannot create a user group inside the project, user groups need to be created on the workspace level. However, it is possible to give a certain user group admin access to a specific project only.

After you create the user group, open this specific project and select Project settings > Project permissions. Select Add users or groups (from the top right corner) and then type the group's name, select it, and then change the permissions to Admin.

Users in this user group will then have admin permission on this project and all of the repositories in this project.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

Kind regards,
Theodora
