Bamboo Data Center 9.5 is now available! Upgrade now to achieve enterprise-grade performance with improved high availability and increased security with database credentials.
In order to reduce downtime and make failover faster we’ve worked on improving our current high availability solution (cold standby). In the warm standby setup the secondary nodes are already running and up-to-date with the primary node (in contrast to the cold standby), allowing for fast and smooth failover. We’ve made database credentials even more secure. AWS Secrets Managers allows to securely store and retrieve password at runtime. Users can also authenticate with Vault using HashiCorp tokens through V2 of the HashiCorp KV Secret Engine or Kubernetes Service Account Tokens.
