How do I create an automation to create a new issue in Jira ?

I am trying to create an automation that will add a new issue to my project quarterly, however I cannot figure out how to create this automation.

What I want to do

• Scheduled automation
• Creates new issue
• With 5 child issues
• Every 13 weeks

The problem I am having is when I select the schedule trigger I am not given the option to "create issue" as an action.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

What are the details of your Schedule trigger?

In the Create Issue action try specifying the destination project and issue type for the issue to be created.
