Hi Team,

Please help in creating rule, if I add new users, they should not be assigned all the available groups by default , but to be added only to a specific group.

Hi @Kyocera India -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

There is no automation rule trigger for new user added, and so a rule could not detect this condition to make the change: https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/jira-automation-triggers/  Automation rules primarily operate on issues, and issue-related events.

To update the default permissions for new users, please work with your Jira admins to make the changes, as described here: https://support.atlassian.com/user-management/docs/default-groups-and-permissions/

Kind regards,
Bill
