Filter fields

Hi all,

How can I update a field based one a specific value of a previous field (before issue creation)?

for ex: If I have two fields (Client name (x, y, or z), Client Code (a, b, c, or d))and select client Name (x), then I want to filter the Client Code value and allow the user only to select (a or b) only.

how can I do this?

If I understand correctly you want this to happen on the issue Create screen?

Cascading Select fields will do just that:
