Community update: Jira Automation has been renamed to Atlassian Automation

Hi Atlassian Community,

Just posting a quick update here to let you know about a small change we've made in Atlassian Community - you may have noticed it already!

What changed?

The Jira Automation section of Atlassian Community has been renamed to Atlassian Automation. 

Your questions and articles about automation rules in Jira Cloud and Automation for Jira - Data Center and Server can still be posted here.

Why?

As mentioned in Jira Cloud Automation docs have moved, we've got big plans for Automation. As the Automation platform becomes available across more Atlassian Cloud products, this Community will become the home for discussion of all things Automation, rather than just Automation in Jira.

When can we expect the release of Automation for Confluence?

It is good to know that Automation is being expanded by Atlassian to include other Cloud products as well.

I am eagerly waiting for its availability in Confluence Cloud.

Does Atlassian have any plans to create Automation plugin for Confluence Data Center as well in near future?

Yes!!! and as everyone has alluded to...does this mean Confluence automation is coming real soon?????

As for ideas

Admin based ones.

The ability to "remove licenses after a period of inactivity" springs to mind.

Perhaps consider improving/standardizing the documentation for automation and working through some of the open suggestions/defects for this product before expanding the scope to other products.
