What attribute gets mapped to "Full Name" and "Public Name" with a managed account? My IdP is providing "givenname" "sn" "cn" and "displayname", but the Full Name assigned to new atlassian accounts is none of those.
I have access to modify the attributes presented by my IdP if I just know what to use.

Thanks. I've added "surname" and "name" to the attributes provided by my IdP. I'll see if this solves the problem.
