Is it possible to share 1 or many projects from a Jira instance (site) to another jira instance (site).
Jira instance 1:
- Share 1 project with Jira instance 2.
- Create task/issues of that shared project to jira instance 2.
Jira instance 2:
- Sees the shared project
- Create task/issues of that shared project
There's no way to share projects directly in Jira, but there are a number of apps which can synchronise (partially or fully) between two separate Jira systems.
I've got more experience with K15t's Backbone than the others, but Exalate and Watchtower are the other two I'd look at.
What @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- said.
I just want to add a link to the Atlassian marketplace to search for all the issue sync solutions which allow you sharing issues across Jira instances.
PS: I'm working for the Backbone Issue Sync team.
