How to integrate status feeds from https://status.atlassian.com/ to slack?

Hi @khairnar_dhaval ,

For any of the individual status pages listed on status.atlassian.com:

  1. Click the individual page you want to subscribe to (e.g. jira-software.status.atlassian.com)
  2. Click the "Subscribe to Updates" button in the top-right
  3. Select the Slack tab

  4. Click the "Subscribe via Slack" button
  5. Follow the Slack auth flow to authorize the app and select which channel you want to post the updates to

 

The only exception on our Statuspages is the one for Statuspage itself - metastatuspage.com - as it currently doesn't have Slack enabled as a subscription option. For that one, you'll need to use the RSS option with the Slack-provided RSS app. Enter this command into the Slack channel you want to receive notifications:

/feed subscribe https://metastatuspage.com/history.rss

and that should do the trick.

Hi @khairnar_dhaval ,

The status pages for Atlassian products are intentionally broken out by product. While we are pleased that many teams use multiple products, the reality is that most teams do not use all products we offer. As an example, even in a company that uses Bitbucket, Jira Software, Confluence, and OpsGenie to manage a software development project, the developers may not need or want to know about issues affecting Jira Product Discovery or Trello - just as an example. Likewise, product managers at the same company might want to know about Jira Product Discovery and Trello, but don't want to know about OpsGenie.

Given that it takes just a matter of seconds to subscribe a Slack channel to an individual product page, we believe this is a good trade-off to ensure people in channels get exactly the updates they care about. If multiple products should be feeding into the same channel, it just takes a few clicks as a one-time configuration.
