How do I stop my account being deleted?

I keep getting emails saying that my Atlassian account will be deleted. I did suspect it to be a phishing scam but wasn’t sure and didn’t want my account deleted! I looked on my Trello account and can’t see any other warnings, how can I be sure my account would be deleted in three days?

Hi @Roof Mot , without seeing the email I can't comment if potentially spam. What reason is given for deleting? I know of no reason Atlassian would delete your account but maybe a reason does exist for such action. The best thing to do is to create a support ticket with Atlassian to get an official answer.

I echo what @Jack Brickey said , but in addition to that, if you do feel that the email is a phishing attempt, you should forward it to abuse@atlassian.com

@Roof Mot if your account is managed, it could be marked for deletion by an admin within your organisation. You should be able to check the validity of that email by going to https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile and checking if your account is managed and/or marked for deletion.
