How can I delete my Atlassian account?

Hello. I have made an Atlassian account by mistake, while I was searching for Jira platform (wanted to practice with it), and after making it I realised that I don't need that account at all. Problem is that I can't delete it. I've tried and this popped out:

You can't delete your account

Your account can't be deleted because:

  • This account is related to active accounts that are set to AUTO-RENEW.
  • This account is the primary billing contact for one or more products.
  • This account is a technical contact for one or more products.
  • To continue deleting this account the account owner needs to visit and designate a different user as a billing and technical contact.
  • Read our support documentation for more help and instructions:

Can you help me delete it?

Hi @starboy cooljyck ,

Welcome to the community.

As the message is stating, you are probably the "owner" of a Cloud site or product.

Make sure that you deleted all Jira (or other products) instances.

You can also log-in to and check in which sites you are listed as technical or billing contact.

These need to be deleted or switched to another user.

If your account is not listed there anymore you should be able to delete it.

Delete them from where? I've managed to unsubscribe, since it says that subscription is inactive, but in contact details under technical and billing contacts it is my e-mail adress. I haven't managed to delete anything.

You can delete the products. Go to the Manage Subscription page. There you can click on the three dots below the product. There should be an option to delete the product.

Where is Manage Subscription page?

In the Cog Menu and then Billing. Probably you cancelled your subscription there.
