Hi,
my organization is changing the users domain, and we need to change each user's email to the new email. both the current and the new emails are google sign in, unmanaged.
when I follow this article, I eventually get a "verify your email" email at the new email address. the link to verify brings me to login using standard method (as if the login is done by Atlassian, not google sign in), and it fails to login, and the process get stuck.
Workaround:
Generate an Atlassian password for the source email by clicking on "Can't login" button.
then change the email
Verification would be sent to the new email
Here login with the new email and Atlassian Password generated in the last step.
Once email is changed, you can start using "Login with Google" again
thanx @Ulka
though following this method, I don't get the verification mail. I only get the notification mail to the source email.
any idea?
I've got "Your email change request could not be processed because <new email> is already associated with another Atlassian account."
I guess it's because I've played too much with it.
I guess I need to follow this section?
