Hello everyone,
On Atlassian Access, If my domain is verified, will users under a sub-domain of my domain would also be subjected to our SSO policy?
We are trying to onboard users using a emails address from a sub-domain to be provisioned and authenticate through Okta but it doesn't seem to work as the users are not redirected to Okta when logging in.
Thanks!
Gabriel
Hi @Gabriel Viger ,
No, each subdomain must be verified and have accounts claimed separately. So if you verify acme.com but a user account's email address is john@us.acme.com, SSO will not be enforced until you claim us.acme.com. That said, you can claim as many domains as you need under the same organization.
A simple test: if you see the user in your list of managed accounts, then SSO will be enforced on that user. https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/managed-accounts-873871203.html
Cheers,
Dave
