In GWorkspace it is possible to add external users to Google groups.
After test migration, the user is part of the users list in Atlassian Cloud but unfortunately not part of the group, which is synced from the 'GSuite' feature.
It seems Atlassian Access doesn't support sync here. We have rbac with external (non-gsuite) users, who need to have access to the Atlassian cloud as well.
What can be done here?
Best, J.
After research it turned out: it is not possible because at Google external users are only contacts, not 'real' users with a password.
If non-domain users need to be handled its only possible with f.e. Okta or LDAP, see https://support.atlassian.com/provisioning-users/docs/configure-user-provisioning-with-an-identity-provider/
