Disable 2fa after switching to sso

Hi All!

Before my org switched to SSO, I configured my Atlassian accout to use 2fa.
Now that my org switched to SSO, logging in with the SSO works well, but I still receive Atlassian's 2fa request.

I tried to cancel it through the account settings, but it says that "You can't enable two-step verification because your account uses single sign-on."
Just to clarify, I'm trying to cancel Atlassian's 2fa, not enable it.

It seems that moving to SSO locks out the option, but instead of being disabled by Atlassian, it simply became "permanent".
Any suggestions on how to disable 2fa would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Neil
