Jira Assist and Slack - why does Agent get replies in both Assist bot & their triage Slack channel?

hi, we are using Jira Assist and Slack. As an Agent, i see the Assist bot in Slack and my triage channel. When any changes made to a ticket, i get notified in both the Assist Bot and the triage channel. How can I only get the notification in the triage channel? There is no need for both as an Agent.
