I'm Kelly and I'm a product owner at a software engineering firm in Superior, CO. I'm not totally new to JIRA, but this is the first job I've had where I'm immersed in it. I'm still learning my way around! There are a lot of features I'd like to learn how to leverage to make our teams more efficient and satisfied with JIRA. Are there any good resources folks on this forum would recommend?

Please, please, please - how do I opt out of seeing everybody earn their badges. Clicking on the "stop all emails" link results in merely a "Nothing to see here" message. Changing my profile settings to see only stuff I'm mentioned in doesn't seem to stop the onslaught, either.

@John Griswold to clarify, is it this particular thread that you want to stop watching? Under the post, you can click "Watching" and it will allow you to un-watch the thread.
At this point I'd like to stop all emails to this account. I'll have to wait for yet-another-email to test your theory, assuming that by "post", you mean email.
When I said post, I meant if you wanted to un-follow this particular thread (about the Welcome badges) you can go back to the original post and see the "Watching/Watch" button. That's what you click to toggle following an individual thread.
Got it - thank you. When I go to the original post, I see Watch. I click it, and see Watching, which I take to mean that I will get messages. I don't want to get messages. Oddly, your response went to my corporate email. The unwanted messages are coming into another account. I suspect Atlassian knows too much about me...
