We’re super excited to announce that we’re adding to our Atlassian Community Journey and launching a new member rank with a shiny new lozenge: the Contributor rank! ✨
In case you’re not familiar with community ranks, here’s how they work:
I’m New Here - This is for new folks who haven’t posted before - welcome to the community! (Or, if you’ve been lurking for a while, jump in and say hello )
Member - This goes to users who have posted at least three times and who have been members for at least a week.
Contributor - This is the new level. It goes to anyone who gets a total of 5 likes or upvotes on their content, and as the name implies, reflects that the community has found your contributions valuable. Thank you!
Rising Star - Rising Stars have gotten 5 accepted answers on the community and are well on their way to becoming Community Leaders! Check out tips on how to become a Rising Star right here. And stay tuned - we know that answering questions isn’t the only way to be a star… so watch this space! 👀
Again, to become a Contributor, get a total of 5 upvotes on answers, or likes on your posts, in any combination (for example, 2 upvotes and 3 likes would qualify you). Once you have, you will receive the Contributor status on the Atlassian Community, complete with a special rank that will be visible whenever you post.
As a Contributor, you'll get access to the private Contributors group!
When you’ve reached the Contributor level, your next step is becoming a Rising Star, and then maybe even becoming a Community Leader one day!
We’re looking forward to seeing more of you making your way up the ranks, and excited to launch this additional way to show our appreciation for our wonderful contributors! 🌟
