In Jira service management when someone declines an Approval, my screen will NOT Show??

Hello all,

Am I missing a step here?

I have an approval step at a status, and when the person DECLINES the status, and transitions to a 'Declined' status, I would like to display a screen, so that they can select the reason for their response.

It all looks like it should work, simply, but it does not.

The screen does not show.

Is this a known issue, or have I missed a step?

Please treat it as suggestion as I'm not sure..What about setting the resolution? Isn't it connected?

The ticket isn't at the resolution stage, its at a Status that requires an approval, and it appears that rules, such as display a screen, don't execute, even if the screen is there.

Here is another case of missing screen on transition that you can check out.. It is suggested to check :
- field configuration for the project and
- context of the field that appears on the screen.

Solved: Custom field not shown on transition screen (atlassian.com)

Check your settings for that field that appears on the screen.
You can run a short test on another transition or another workflow with the same screen you use.
