i.e. the rule for the values would be:

On track IF Start day is < or equals to Baseline Start day

At risk IF Start day is > Baseline Start Day

Off Track IF End day is > Baseline End Day

I noticed something similar in the presentation How Atlassian Uses Advanced Roadmaps

@Igors Agakijs -

Are you referring to Automation for Jira setup?  If so, then you will need to do the following -

1) Create a custom field (i.e. single select list field with the tracking options) + add/setup the field against your roadmap plan's projects (sourcing issues).

2) Setup an automation rule to be triggered as Scheduled event with actions to set the field value based on your criteria.  NOTE - for the automation rule you have to ensure the following guidelines are followed -

  • If the rule is affecting more than one project, then it will need to be global or associated with multiple projects.   Then you need to watch for the execution usage limits allocated to the different tiers based on your cloud subscription plan.  See following link - https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/explore-jira-cloud-plans/

  • In addition, the rule actor of your automation rule has the access and permission setup to conduct the the issue field update.  Otherwise it will not work properly.

3) Once the field is populated, then you need to include it to your plan + then you can colored the gantt bar against the custom field.

Here are the links regarding to Automation for Jira for your references -

Hope this helps.
