Filter Child Issues in Initiative

Does anyone know if there is a filter (query) to filter all child issues within a Initiative and then be able to pull it to Portfolio?  I would like to see the Initiatives in Portfolio along with their child issues.  I haven't been able to get this to work.  Thank you!

This is possible via the instructions from Roi's comment on this thread:

If you're using Cloud, then it's not possible natively but you may be able to do so via Scriptrunner.
