Can't add service requests to advanced roadmap plan

I'm trying to add a project from jira service desk to a plan and all standard issue types (Stories, Bugs, Tasks, Changes etc) work fine except for service requests. Service Requests will not show up in the plan's scope no matter if I add them through board, project or filter sourced.

Is there any reason why service requests are not available in Advanced Roadmap plans (new UI)?

The instance is Jira Datacenter on long term support version 8.13.
