Hi.
Can Jira be configured to not allow logging work on a specific day of the week, e.g. Sunday?
Preferably this restriction is indicated in the "log work" dialog as an error hint right below the date picker (stating "Logging work on sunday is not allowed"). Can the existing log-work dialogs of Jira and Tempo be changed in that regard? Or is creating a custom dialog for logging work the only solution for this approach?
We've also looked into ScriptRunner and created a Custom Listener for the events "Work Logged On Issue", "Issue Worklog Updated" and "WorklogUpdatedEvent". This captures the events correctly, but since they are emitted after the changes have already been made this is not a solution for us. Is there any other way ScriptRunner can help here?
AFAICT no Workflow transition is happening when updating the work log, so Validators are not an option. Or are they?
Thanks
Hi @David ,
I was searching through Community posts and found your question. I see it was posted almost a year ago, were you ever able to figure it out?
