Report Percentage or Total Based on Type

Is there a way to run a report that would show percentages of each type of issue?

For example, lets say in the last 30 days: 5% Bug, 10% Problem, 12% Technical Support, etc.

If not, a report that would list out the totals of each type would also work.  (ie 10 Bug, 5 Problem, 8 Technical Support, etc.)

Edit: I've created a custom report with a separate series for each category.  That takes care of the list of totals, but I still haven't found a way to pull reports with percentages.

Hi @Lewis West,

A pie chart on a regular Jira dashboard should do that perfectly, I would say:

Hope this helps!

@TS World,

but how

Via Filters > advances search, search for all the issues you want to report on. Save that filter and remember the name that you gave it, e.g. all issues for my pie chart (pick a better name in real life).

Then:

  • Navigate to Dashboards > Create new dashboard
  • Add a pie chart gadget to the dashboard
  • Set your all issues for my pie chart filter as the data source for the gadget
  • Select Issue type as the statistic to report on
  • Save the gadget
  • Save the dashboard

 That should be it.

That's excellent for a quick view.

Is there a way to run a report from the pie chart or adjust the duration (last 7 days, last 30 days, etc.)?
